We submitted a formal complaint to APOC (Alaska Political Office Commission) concerning the actions of the Pro-RCV group in Alaska. While they have accused us of breaching various State Campaign Finance Laws, we assert that this group should also adhere to the same rules and regulations. Contrary to their portrayal, this organization is not grassroots and receives substantial funding from outside of Alaska. Our objective is to hold them responsible for their apparent hypocrisy and their attempts to intimidate and tarnish the image of Alaskans, their organizations, and families. Their efforts to suppress our movement against ranked choice voting should not go unnoticed, and they must answer for potentially breaking the same laws they accuse us of. It's concerning that these well-informed political activists, who have benefited from massive out-of-state donations for their ranked choice voting agenda and campaign finance law changes, manipulate the system to their advantage, expecting regular citizens to falter and then overwhelm them with financial and legal burdens. We trust that the State of Alaska will ensure that these laws are applied uniformly, calling this Pro-RCV group to account for any disregard of Alaskan laws and norms.
